Dwanda Gamble

Coach Gamble is a very accomplished player and coach.  She has participated in sports since the age of 15, where she played basketball for Southside Middle school in Florence, South Carolina.  She continued her career at South Florence High School where she ran track and played varsity basketball, but her career in sports did not end there.  Coach Gamble was co-captain of the cheerleading squad and played collegiate volleyball at Voorhees College where she was a dominant outside hitter.  Coach Gamble graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  After her career at Voorhees, she began as a Paraprofessional at Meadowview Elementary.  Coach Gamble began her coaching career at Lakeside High School in 2006 as an Assistant Coach in Volleyball and Basketball.

 

 

Stan VanSant

Stan VanSant has lived in and around the Atlanta area all of his life.  Stan started coaching at Lakeside in 2006 and has coached Club Teams since 2004.   He also conducts volleyball clinics in the community.  Stan is a software engineer for Northrop Grumman and has been contracting with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for the past 14 years.  While contracting at the CDC, Stan has been published and has received numerous awards, certificates and plaques.  He is a graduate of The University of Georgia (UGA) where he earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Anthropology.  Stan began his volleyball career on a Club team at UGA.  From there he played many years in the Southern Region on USAV teams, coached USAV and became a certified referee and scorer.  Stan also played many years of beach doubles volleyball across the U.S. earning his AA rating.  He still enjoys playing both indoor and outdoor volleyball tournaments.
